The Application Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and primary technical owner for renewal configurations, advanced system analysis, and complex operational support within Symphony. This role is crucial for maximizing system accuracy, efficiency, and stability across the entire renewal lifecycle. The Application Specialist will proactively drive process improvements, resolve high-impact issues, and coordinate efforts with Product, Engineering, Support, and internal management, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of patent renewals.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in system configuration or technical support, preferably in an IP or financial environment.
Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and complex troubleshooting skills for mission-critical renewal and configuration issues.
Proven ability to lead initiatives, drive projects to completion, and influence outcomes across cross-functional teams (Product, PE, Support, Management).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage high-priority, multi-faceted projects independently and effectively mentor others.
