Summary:
UST is looking for a Material Flow and Production Planning Engineer, AMIND Planning Focal serves as a focal point for execution and control about material flow and plan execution across the production lines, while maintaining alignment with system data, customer requirements, and operational constraints. The position operates in a highly cross-functional environment and must maintain strong alignment with PDC MFC & PEC, S&OP planner, MFG and logistics.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage open/ close tools process, including control about WO released
- Material location management across multiple stakeholders: MFG, logistics, planning
- Support of ordering materials to the production floor, according to the operational plan requirement
- Shortages management with PDC MFC
- System demand accuracy: CPD process, SP management
- Control focal and escalation risk in case of need
- Support alignment and communication across functions
- Participate in operational reviews and process-related forums.
- Monitor process performance and KPI trends
- Support issue resolution related to system or process gaps
- Identify deviations from plan (delays, config issues, material risks)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Planning, Production Control, Material Flow, Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing environments
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive execution through influence
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
- Proactive approach of system validation and problem solving
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, IOMS, or other operational reporting systems
- Experience working with shortages management, inventory control, or material flow processes
