DMLT Staff (Medical Laboratory Technician)
Qualification
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution.
- Relevant laboratory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Basic computer skills for laboratory information systems and record management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens (blood, urine, sputum, etc.).
- Perform routine laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Prepare reagents and maintain laboratory supplies.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately.
- Follow infection control and biomedical waste management procedures.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and quality assurance records.
- Assist pathologists and senior laboratory personnel when required.
Skills Required
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of laboratory instruments and testing procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards in healthcare laboratories.
Work Settings
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
