DESCRIPTION:
As a Systems Analyst III (Senior Business Systems Analyst) at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in enabling enterprise application stability, scalability, and business value realization. This position operates at the intersection of IT service management, application support, and system integration, driving structured requirements management and delivering high-quality solutions aligned to business priorities with a primary focus on the Veeva Vault ecosystem.
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to lead requirements intake, backlog governance, and solution design across enterprise platforms. The role requires strong ownership of the full lifecycle from demand intake through delivery, validation, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with GxP and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include translating complex business needs into actionable user stories and technical specifications, leading stakeholder engagement and impact assessments, and ensuring traceability across the software development lifecycle. You will also support and govern User Acceptance Testing, drive process standardization, and contribute to operational excellence across application services.
Advanced Degree plus 5 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of experience in systems analysis, business requirements gathering, and solution design or equivalent experience.
Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
Professional certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies preferred (e.g., PMP, TOGAF, CSV, GAMP 5, ITIL Foundations, CBAP)
