Project Role Description : Develop and execute testbenches to verify the functional correctness of digital designs at the block and system level. Create constrained-random, directed, and coverage-driven tests using languages like SystemVerilog and UVM. Collaborate with design and architecture teams to identify corner cases and ensure complete functional coverage before tape-out.

Summary:
As a Functional Verification Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing comprehensive test environments to validate the functionality of digital hardware components. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to identify potential edge cases and ensure thorough verification coverage. The engineer actively participates in refining verification strategies and contributes to the overall quality assurance process, ensuring that the digital designs meet the required specifications before final production stages. The work environment is dynamic, involving problem-solving and continuous communication with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones efficiently.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and review of verification plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in verification methodologies.
- Coordinate with design and architecture teams to address functional issues and optimize verification processes.
