Position : Electrical BIM Modeler

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining high-quality electrical BIM models for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and coordinated project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare electrical layouts, lighting, power, fire alarm, low-voltage, and other electrical system models based on project requirements.
- Produce construction documentation, shop drawings, and coordinated drawings from BIM models.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks or similar coordination software.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and client requirements.
- Update models based on design revisions and site feedback.
- Generate schedules, quantities, and material take-offs from BIM models.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain model quality, accuracy, and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD requirements, and model coordination processes.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, ELV, and grounding systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on international projects (Middle East, UK, US, or Australia).
- Knowledge of Dynamo or Revit family creation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
- Understanding of electrical codes and international design standards.
