Job Summary
The Salesman is responsible for assisting customers, selling bakery and confectionery products, maintaining product display, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience while following company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service
- Greet customers politely and assist them in selecting products
- Explain product details such as flavours, ingredients, and prices
- Promote new products, offers, and seasonal items
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle basic customer queries
Billing & Cash Handling
- Operate the billing counter (cash, UPI, card payments)
- Ensure accurate billing and provide bills to customers
- Maintain proper cash balance during shifts
Product Handling & Display
- Arrange cakes, pastries, and confectionery neatly
- Ensure proper storage and temperature control of products
- Check product freshness and report damaged or expired items
Store Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, counters, and display units
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Wear proper uniform and follow grooming guidelines
Stock Support
- Assist in checking stock levels
- Inform the Store Manager about low stock or fast-moving items
- Help in unloading and arranging new stock.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
