Key Responsibilities
- Obtain freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and transport vendors.
- Prepare competitive quotations for air freight, sea freight (FCL/LCL), courier, and multimodal shipments.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and vendors to achieve the best commercial terms.
- Coordinate with overseas agents for import and export pricing inquiries.
- Maintain and update carrier tariffs, contracts, and rate databases.
- Analyze market trends, freight fluctuations, and capacity to provide competitive solutions.
- Ensure quotations are prepared accurately and submitted within agreed timelines.
- Support the sales team by providing pricing, transit times, and service options.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure quoted services are operationally feasible.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, and overseas partners.
- Prepare cost sheets and ensure target profit margins are maintained.
- Follow up on pending quotations and support business conversion.
- Maintain records of quotations, approvals, and customer pricing history.
- Resolve pricing-related queries from customers and internal teams.
Pay: ₹10,090.22 - ₹32,472.79 per month
