The Education Counselor is responsible for explaining courses to students, guiding them toward suitable programs, and achieving monthly admission targets. The role involves counseling, convincing students for enrollment, and following up on leads to ensure conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students via calls, walk-ins, online inquiries, and follow-ups to help them select the right course.
- Understand each student’s career goals, academic background, and skill level to recommend the best program.
- Explain course details such as curriculum, duration, fees, certification, and career opportunities.
- Convince and convert potential students into admissions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission or revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system.
- Participate in career seminars, webinars, and promotional activities to generate leads.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, market trends, and career demands.
- Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and retention through ongoing engagement and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1–4 years of experience as an Education Counselor / Academic Advisor.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of popular IT technologies such as Python, Java, Data Science, Full Stack Development, etc. is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a results-driven team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
