Legal Intern (Litigation, Legal Research & Drafting)

Duration: [1–6 Months] Mode: Full-time / Part-time / Hybrid About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Intern to assist in litigation, legal research, drafting, and case management. The intern will work closely with advocates and gain practical exposure to court proceedings, client interactions, and legal drafting. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, regulations, and judicial precedents. Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, applications, petitions, written statements, affidavits, bail applications, appeals, and other legal documents.
Prepare case briefs, legal opinions, and summaries of judgments. Assist in filing and tracking matters before courts, tribunals, and other authorities. Attend court hearings and prepare hearing notes and case updates. Review contracts, agreements, and legal documents as assigned. Organize and maintain case files, records, and legal databases. Assist in client meetings and preparation of case strategies. Perform any other legal and administrative tasks assigned by the supervising advocate. Eligibility LL.B. students (3-year or 5-year course) or recent law graduates. Strong legal research and drafting skills. Good understanding of procedural and substantive laws. Proficiency in MS Word, legal databases, and online court portals. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of civil, criminal, arbitration, and commercial litigation. Strong attention to detail and professional ethics.
