US Medical Billing Specialist – AR Follow-up & Denial Management

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced US Medical Billing Specialist with expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-up and Denial Management. If you have a strong understanding of the US healthcare revenue cycle and enjoy solving claim issues while maximizing reimbursements, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform AR follow-up on outstanding and aging insurance claims.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve claim denials and rejections.
- Prepare and submit appeals, reconsiderations, and corrected claims.
- Review EOBs and ERAs to identify denial reasons and payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with US insurance payers such as Aetna, BCBS, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Cigna, Humana, and others through calls and emails.
- Ensure timely claim resolution while reducing AR aging (30/60/90+ days).
- Accurately post insurance payments, adjustments, and write-offs.
- Coordinate with coding teams for CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS corrections when required.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in US Medical Billing (AR Follow-up & Denial Management).
- Strong knowledge of the complete medical billing and revenue cycle process.
- Experience working with commercial and government payers, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Excellent understanding of denial codes, appeals, and claim resolution.
- Strong English communication skills for the US calling process.
- Comfortable working in the US night shift.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and medical billing software.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, or similar platforms.
- Ability to achieve daily calling, collection, and quality targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
