Hiring: Cost Accountant – Food & Beverage Industry
Location: Kolkata
We are a growing hospitality and restaurant group operating multiple restaurants, bars, and food brands across Kolkata. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to oversee food and beverage cost control, inventory management, and profitability analysis across our outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs.
Conduct inventory audits and stock reconciliations.
Track wastage, breakage, and inventory variances.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
Calculate recipe costing and menu profitability.
Review purchase costs and vendor pricing.
Ensure adherence to standard recipes and portion controls.
Analyze outlet-wise profitability and recommend cost-saving measures.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Coordinate with kitchen, stores, purchasing, and operations teams.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or food service industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory control and food cost management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy.
What We Offer
Salary of ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month.
