Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting support, and timely preparation of financial statements. The role also involves supervising junior accounting staff and coordinating with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in Tally Prime/ERP or other accounting software.
- Review journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare fund flow reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors during audits.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Verify payroll accounting entries and employee reimbursement claims.
- Monitor vendor payments, customer collections, and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Guide and supervise junior accountants and accounts assistants.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Support management by providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in handling end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and payroll accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
