Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
· Source, evaluate, and procure raw materials, finishes, and consumables as per project requirements.
· Compare supplier quotations and prepare detailed comparison sheets for management approval.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and manufacturers.
· Identify and onboard alternate suppliers for critical materials to ensure supply chain resilience.
Purchase Order & Invoice Management
· Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders in line with project timelines and company policies.
· Verify supplier invoices for accuracy and adherence to agreed terms, ensuring timely processing with Accounts.
· Maintain a transparent approval process for all purchase activities.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
· Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across sites and warehouse.
· Coordinate with transporters, storekeepers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
· Track dispatches and resolve any delivery or material quality issues promptly.
Market Intelligence & Vendor Development
· Conduct regular market research to identify new materials, innovative products, and reliable vendors.
· Track price trends of key materials to support negotiation strategies.
· Evaluate vendor performance and implement continuous improvement measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with the Project, Design, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with project timelines and budgets.
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, processes, and quality standards.
Requirements & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 5–8 years of proven experience in procurement or purchase within the Interior Fit-out / Construction industry.
· Strong understanding of interior materials, vendor networks, and market dynamics.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, Tally, and procurement-related software tools.
· Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
