Role: Urban Forest Supervisors
Location: Bangalore
Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Forestry, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of gardening and field staff.
- Monitor the health and growth of trees and saplings at assigned sites.
- Identify damaged or unhealthy saplings and coordinate their replacement.
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of assigned sites.
- Establish, maintain, and manage nurseries as required.
- Monitor routine gardening and plantation activities.
- Ensure proper care, watering, maintenance, and upkeep of plants and trees.
- Maintain records and documentation related to plantation and site activities.
- Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth execution of urban forestry projects.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor overall site conditions.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency in the local language.
- Valid two-wheeler and willingness to travel to assigned sites.
- Candidates based in Chennai or Bangalore are preferred.
- Good supervision and team coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor/field environments.
- Basic documentation and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of plants, trees, gardening, nursery management, or forestry practices.
- Ability to manage and supervise field teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
