Position: Solar Project Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Project Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of solar energy projects. This role involves working across multiple phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility assessments and system design to installation support and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, project coordination experience, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design, system sizing, and technical analysis for solar PV systems.
- Prepare and review layout drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and electrical schematics.
- Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and performance simulations using tools such as PVSyst or Helioscope.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and permitting requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Review contractor submittals, inspect installations, and support commissioning activities.
- Identify technical risks or engineering challenges and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and project records.
- Stay updated with new solar technologies, industry standards, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in solar PV project engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in solar design and simulation tools such as PVSyst, Helioscope, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar PV design standards, and installation practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
