About the Role
Innovera School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math & Science Teacher for High School. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to make Mathematics and Science engaging, practical, and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons in Mathematics and Science for High School students.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding through interactive and activity-based teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and academic resources.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, experiments, and project-based learning activities where applicable.
- Maintain academic records and prepare progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and faculty development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. / B.A.
- B.Ed. / M.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in CBSE curriculum will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Excellent English communication skills (Mandatory).
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Science.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and make learning enjoyable.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital teaching tools.
