Traverse Inc. is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a designated kitchen section, ensuring consistent food quality, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Manage a specific kitchen section independently.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report inventory requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary diploma or relevant qualification is preferred.
