The Field Officer is responsible for supervising security personnel deployed at client locations, ensuring smooth security operations, maintaining discipline, handling client requirements, and conducting regular inspections. The role includes manpower management, training support, and maintaining service quality as per company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned client sites regularly and monitor security operations.
- Supervise security guards and ensure proper attendance, grooming, and discipline.
- Conduct surprise inspections during day and night shifts.
- Ensure guards perform duties as per post instructions and client requirements.
- Handle deployment, replacement, and emergency manpower arrangements.
- Maintain good relationships with clients and address complaints promptly.
- Train and brief security personnel on duties, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Verify attendance, shift schedules, and duty rosters.
- Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports and submit them to management.
- Ensure proper maintenance of registers, logbooks, and security records at sites.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or security breaches and submit reports.
- Coordinate with HR and operations team regarding staffing and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Required Skills
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle manpower and client coordination.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety practices.
- Problem-solving and emergency handling ability.
- Computer knowledge for report preparation is preferred.
Qualification
- Minimum Intermediate / Any Degree preferred.
- Experience in security services or facility management preferred.
- Ex-servicemen or experienced security supervisors are an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years in security operations, supervision, or facility management.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
