Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator to handle CNC laser cutting machines for sheet metal and fabrication work. The candidate should have experience in machine setup, operation, and quality inspection as per drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC laser cutting machines (fiber/CO₂) for sheet metal cutting
- Read and understand engineering drawings and cutting layouts
- Perform machine setup, parameter setting, and job loading/unloading
- Monitor cutting process and ensure accuracy and quality of components
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure optimum material utilization and minimize scrap
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in laser cutting operations
- Knowledge of sheet metal, nesting, and fabrication processes
- Basic understanding of CNC programming (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred)
- Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, etc.)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
