Sales operations in a foundry is responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the sales team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inquiry & Quotation Handling
- Receive customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and maintain records
- Order Processing
Convert orders into production plans and ensure proper documentation
Act as a link between sales team, production, dispatch, and customersTrack order status and regularly update customers and sales teamEnsure timely shipment and resolve delivery issuesHandle complaints, feedback, and after-sales service coordinationMaintain sales records, MIS reports, and order tracking systemsManage invoices, purchase orders, and other commercial documents
