Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual Testing) with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case creation, defect reporting, and software quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure application quality before release.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and prepare test reports.
- Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in writing and executing test cases.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Basic understanding of SQL is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Manual Testing certification is a plus.
