About the Role
We are looking for an experienced VMware VCF Support L3 Specialist with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, cloud administration, architecture, and enterprise infrastructure management.
The role involves providing advanced L3 technical support, designing and managing VMware Cloud environments, resolving complex infrastructure issues, leading technical escalations, and driving platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience as a VMware Cloud Administrator, Architect, SME, or Technical Lead, with the ability to manage complex enterprise VMware Cloud Foundation environments.

Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced L3 technical support for enterprise VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex and critical VMware Cloud infrastructure issues.
Design, implement, administer, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
Provide expert-level support for VCF components, including:
VMware vSphere
VMware NSX
VMware vSAN
VMware SDDC Manager
Act as a technical SME for VMware Cloud Foundation architecture, administration, and operations.
Lead technical escalations and coordinate with internal teams, customers, OEMs, and technology partners for issue resolution.
Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, availability management, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.
Support the planning and execution of VMware infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and technology refresh initiatives.
Design and implement solutions to improve platform stability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
Review existing VMware Cloud environments and recommend architecture and performance improvements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture documents, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards.
Mentor L1 and L2 support engineers and provide technical guidance on complex VMware Cloud issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, storage, security, cloud, and application teams for end-to-end issue resolution.
Drive continuous improvement, automation, standardization, and best practices across VMware Cloud operations.
Stay updated with the latest VMware Cloud Foundation technologies, features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) administration and support.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in VMware Cloud Administration, Architecture, SME, or Management roles.
Strong expertise in:
VMware vSphere
VMware NSX
VMware vSAN
VMware SDDC Manager
Strong understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation architecture and components.
Experience in L3 troubleshooting and critical incident resolution.
Strong experience in performance monitoring, optimization, and capacity planning.
Experience with VMware upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management.
Strong Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise and production environments.
Preferred Qualification
Any Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
The following certification is mandatory :
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) in Data Center, Cloud, or Network technologies.
