We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Python Operations Support Executive to join our Operations team.
Job Summary
The Python Operations Support Executive will be responsible for monitoring and supporting existing Python-based automated data processing workflows. The role involves executing pre-built Python pipelines, validating outputs, reviewing logs, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational activities.
This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience who are looking to build a career in Python, Data Processing, and Operations Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor Python-based data processing pipelines.
- Validate generated output files by performing predefined quality checks.
- Review application logs and identify processing failures or exceptions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate technical issues when required.
- Verify file transfers, reports, and processed outputs.
- Monitor scheduled jobs and ensure successful completion.
- Maintain daily operational reports and process documentation.
- Communicate processing status and updates through email with internal stakeholders.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily operational activities.
- Coordinate with the development team for production issues requiring technical support.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned operational tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of file handling (CSV, Excel, TXT).
- Ability to execute Python scripts and interpret basic log files.
- Basic understanding of data validation and quality checks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Windows operating systems.
- Good written communication skills for email correspondence.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow documented processes and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Pandas.
- Familiarity with Command Prompt (CMD) or Command Line Interface (CLI).
- Understanding of scheduled jobs or task automation.
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB or NoSQL databases.
- Basic understanding of ETL or data processing workflows.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. (IT), B.E., B.Tech, or a related field.
Candidate Profile
- Fresher or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
- Strong willingness to learn Python-based operational processes.
- Good problem-solving and observational skills.
- Process-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in the US Shift.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
