Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Design Faculty to educate and mentor students in design concepts, garment construction, and industry practices. The candidate should be able to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare students for the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures on fashion design subjects such as:
- Fashion Illustration
- Textile Science
- Pattern Making & Garment Construction
- Fashion History & Trends
- Plan, prepare, and execute lesson plans as per the curriculum
- Guide students in developing creative design concepts and collections
- Conduct practical sessions, workshops, and studio-based learning
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams
- Assist students in portfolio development and presentations
- Mentor students for internships and placements
- Organize fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry visits
- Stay updated with current fashion trends and industry practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design (minimum requirement)
- Master’s Degree in Fashion Design (preferred)
- Degree/Diploma from reputed institutes like National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or equivalent is an added advantage
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching or industry experience in fashion design
- Freshers with strong academic background and portfolio can also apply
Pay: ₹20,494.51 - ₹25,140.44 per month
