Position: Physiotherapist
Location: Global Child Wellness Centre, Barnala
Job Summary:
Global Child Wellness Centre is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions for children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and physical challenges. The Physiotherapist will work closely with children and their families to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, posture, and functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays, ADHD, and other neurological or physical conditions.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, strength, and mobility.
- Monitor progress, maintain treatment records, and update therapy goals as required.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and pediatricians to ensure holistic child development.
- Prepare assessment reports and progress documentation in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).Diploma Holders can also be considered.
- Experience working with pediatric or special needs children preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical skills with a child-centered approach.
