Responsibilities
The O2C Apprentice will focus on learning the foundational elements of the revenue cycle while assisting the team in the execution, administrative upkeep, and reporting of day-to-day collections and billing support activities:
Operational Support & Execution
- Assist in Daily Collections: Support the daily Collections process by drafting routine follow-up communications for outstanding invoices under the guidance of senior team members.
- Email & Issue Tracking: Maintain rigorous upkeep of client folders, monitoring incoming emails and cataloging open issues to ensure data transparency for end-to-end closure.
- Discrepancy Identification: Help flag basic customer query discrepancies (such as missing PO information or minor billing entry disputes) to the assigned Associate.
Systems, Data, & Documentation
- ERP Training & Data Logging: Develop a strong working knowledge of corporate enterprise systems (specifically SAP and Salesforce) by logging basic billing tickets and updating record tracking fields.
- SOP Maintenance: Assist in updating and organizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as process changes are rolled out.
- Billing Team Coordination: Assist the billing team with data gathering, document retrieval, and entry tasks necessary for processing invoice amendments.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Metrics & Dashboards: Support the generation of daily/weekly data inputs for the Commercial Dashboard, tracking basic parameters like Cash Inflow entries.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Act as a cooperative point of contact internally to route routine customer queries to the right internal departments (Sales, Technology, Finance).
Process & Audit Coordination
- Audit Documentation Prep: Provide administrative support during audit engagements by gathering required invoices, receipts, and historical data logs.
- Identify Workflow Gaps: Actively observe daily operations to propose basic ideas for streamlining data entry and eliminating process gaps.

To be successful in this apprenticeship, the candidate must possess a strong desire to learn, an analytical mindset, and a highly collaborative attitude.
- Analytical Skills & Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry and record-keeping. Ability to look at historical data sheets, follow patterns, and catch anomalies.
- Communication & Presentation: Confident verbal and written communication skills to handle internal team queries and present information clearly.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: A helpful, proactive, and cooperative attitude with an eagerness to support cross-functional timelines.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to absorb feedback, adapt quickly to a fast-paced corporate environment, and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
- Technological Literacy: Strong baseline proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to navigate VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and standard formulas). Prior academic or conceptual exposure to SAP, High Radius, or Salesforce environments is a significant plus.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Com / BBA / BCA / B.Sc-IT (2023/24/25) looking for an foundational career track.
- Conceptual clarity on basic accounting principles, the Order-to-Cash cycle, and corporate working capital concepts is required.
