Position Overview
The Procurement Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality purchase of goods and services. The role focuses on vendor management, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Management & Development
- Source and onboard new vendors for indirect materials
- Evaluate vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery)
- Build and maintain long-term vendor relationships
- Implement and monitor vendor rating systems
2. Contract Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Ensure contracts are legally compliant and properly executed
3. Vendor Risk Management
- Identify supplier risks (price fluctuation, supply disruption)
- Develop contingency plans for critical vendors
4. Cost Optimization & Budget Management
- Implement cost-saving strategies
- Monitor procurement spend vs budget
- Analyze market trends for better pricing opportunities
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations
- Maintain procurement records (POs, GRNs, contracts)
- Support audit compliance and documentation
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with business needs
- Provide procurement reports to management
7. Vendor Relationship Management
- Monitor supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost)
- Resolve vendor-related issues proactively
- Ensure vendor compliance with agreements
8. Process Improvement
- Identify and implement procurement process improvements
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred in Supply Chain/Procurement)
- 8–12 years of procurement experience
- Experience in indirect materials procurement
- Preferred experience in jewellery retail / large retail / manufacturing
- Strong hands-on SAP experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
