We are seeking a qualified and proactive Food Technologist to establish, implement, monitor, and continuously improve our food safety and production systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing structured processes, ensuring food safety compliance, conducting audits, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food safety and quality management systems.
- Establish and monitor CCPs (Critical Control Points).
- Conduct food safety risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, checklists, records, monitoring forms, and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Improve production workflows and operational efficiency.
- Train staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
- Monitor production practices and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Support management in achieving certification and compliance objectives where applicable.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, food safety, or process development.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, FSSAI requirements, ISO 22000, or related standards.
- Strong documentation, auditing, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to work independently and establish systems from the ground up.
Initial Project Phase
For the first 3 months, the selected candidate will focus primarily on:
- Structuring production and quality processes.
- Developing SOPs and documentation.
- Implementing food safety controls.
- Establishing audit and monitoring systems.
- Creating risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
Future Role
Upon successful completion of the initial development phase, the position may transition into a permanent role as:
