The Psychology Intern – Admission Counselor role is ideal for psychology students or graduates who want hands-on exposure in applied psychology, client communication, and ethical course counselling.
This role involves understanding a student’s psychological interests, career goals, and concerns, and guiding them toward the most suitable psychology program offered by ICS.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with prospective students and clients via calls, WhatsApp, and email
- Understand students’ background, interests, and career objectives using active listening skills
- Provide accurate information about psychology courses, diplomas, and certifications
- Counsel students ethically—focusing on right fit, not forced sales
- Address queries related to course structure, duration, certification, and learning outcomes
- Maintain follow-ups and relationship building with interested candidates
- Update lead status and interaction details in the CRM system
- Work closely with the admissions and academic team
