JOB DESCRIPTION
Position - Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Residential Care
Location: Mindport Care Villa
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Experience: Experience in Psychiatry Preferred
Role Summary
The Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to residents with psychiatric conditions in a residential care setting. The role involves monitoring mental and physical health, administering medications, ensuring patient safety, and supporting therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects
- Observe, assess, and document patient behavior and mental status
- Assist in managing psychiatric emergencies and behavioral disturbances
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents
- Support residents in daily living activities and personal hygiene
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
Requirements
- GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification
- Valid Nursing Registration
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night duty

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
