We are looking for a Site Engineer cum Site Coordinator with experience in PWD Road & Bridge Works to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site execution, coordinating with PWD officials, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring that road and bridge works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day PWD road, bridge, culvert, drainage, and related civil works.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, BOQ, and PWD standards.
- Coordinate with PWD Engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor earthwork, excavation, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, bituminous works, drainage, and other road construction activities.
- Supervise bridge-related works including excavation, foundations, RCC works, reinforcement, shuttering, abutments, piers, decks, retaining structures, and related works.
- Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, and workmanship as per drawings and specifications.
- Monitor material usage, quality, and wastage at the site.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site records, work schedules, and other project documentation.
- Maintain proper measurement books, measurement sheets, quantity records, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparation and verification of RA Bills, BOQ quantities, variation statements, and material statements.
- Coordinate with surveyors and ensure proper setting out and levels.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Identify and resolve technical/site issues in coordination with senior engineers and PWD authorities.
- Ensure compliance with quality control, safety requirements, and approved construction procedures.
- Attend site inspections and meetings with PWD officials and consultants.
- Maintain proper records and documentation required for PWD road and bridge projects.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in road, bridge, highway, or PWD civil construction works.
- Candidates with experience in PWD/CPWD/NHAI or other government infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of road and bridge construction methods, BOQ, measurements, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office is preferred.
- Experience in site coordination, quantity estimation, billing, and subcontractor management will be an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently supervise site activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
