Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety regulations, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy vehicles for the demonstration of goods and materials.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or violations promptly to the supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
Requirements:
- Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver (minimum 6 years preferred).
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Ability to handle physical workload, including loading and unloading cargo.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
