About the Role
Social Mentor Media (SMM) is looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team. If you have a keen eye for storytelling, understand social media trends, and enjoy transforming raw footage into engaging content, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, subtitles, and color correction to enhance videos.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and creative teams to deliver compelling visual content.
- Optimize videos for different social media platforms and formats.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, social media trends, and platform algorithms.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of video composition, pacing, color grading, and audio synchronization.
- Ability to work creatively with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Eligibility
- 0–4 years of experience in video editing.
- Freshers with an impressive portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Media, Visual Communication, Animation, or related fields preferred).
- Portfolio showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
