- Education & Licensing: Valid state/national nursing registration (e.g., GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or M.Sc. Nursing).
- Experience: 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, with previous ICU or critical care exposure highly preferred.
Job description
· Patient Monitoring: Conduct frequent, comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, evaluate hemodynamics, and recognize subtle changes in a patient's condition.
· Equipment Management: Set up, troubleshoot, and monitor ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and feeding tubes.
· Medication & Treatment: Prepare and calculate precise medication and IV fluid dosages, manage infusions, and assist with procedures like intubation.
· Emergency Response: Initiate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) during critical, life-threatening situations.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time electronic or written patient charts detailing treatment plans and physiological responses.
· Family Support & Communication: Provide empathetic updates to families and collaborate closely with attending physicians and the broader healthcare team.
