We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, prototyping, and assembly of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD skills, a practical approach to engineering, and a willingness to work hands-on with machinery and mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and product architectures.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Assist in prototyping, fabrication, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Perform assembly, integration, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and prototypes.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations using relevant analysis software (FEA, motion analysis, etc.).
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical, embedded, and production teams during product development.
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, quality, and safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous product improvement and design optimization.
- Work hands-on with workshop tools, machines, and mechanical assemblies whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and mechanical design principles.
- Basic knowledge of engineering analysis tools (FEA/CAE or similar platforms).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, sheet metal, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work in both office and workshop environments.
