We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to oversee on-site construction activities, ensure quality execution, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site construction activities to ensure timely project execution.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Plan and manage manpower, materials, machinery, and resources efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Review construction drawings, BOQs, shop drawings, and technical specifications before execution.
- Resolve technical issues at the site and coordinate with the design team for necessary revisions.
- Verify measurements, billing quantities, and contractor work completion.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage through effective site management.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials in coordination with the procurement team.
- Maintain site documentation, including DPRs, work permits, inspection reports, and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Lead and mentor junior site engineers and site supervisors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in site execution within the Construction & Real Estate industry.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, villa, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, structural works, and construction methodologies.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera (preferred), and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, bar bending schedules (BBS), and quality control procedures.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, construction safety standards, and site execution practices.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, billing, and resource management.
