We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and prepare accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and experience in managing financial records and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance reports (as applicable).
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP implementation or process improvement.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, taxation, and audit procedures.
- Leadership experience managing an accounting team.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
