The Lab Instructor supports classroom instruction by leading demonstrating practical techniques, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. This role focuses on hands-on training, student guidance, equipment maintenance, and reinforcing theoretical concepts through practical application.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proper use of laboratory equipment, tools, and software
- Supervise students during practical activities
- Enforce lab safety rules and ensure compliance with institutional policies
- Prepare equipment and workstations before sessions
- Assist students in understanding procedures, troubleshooting and completing lab work
- Maintain, calibrate, and organize equipment and supplies
- Document lab activities, attendance, and student progress as required
- Assist lead instructors or professors with assessments, grading, and evaluations
Qualifications
- B.tech /M.tech in any Engineering Background
- Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with relevant lab equipment and technology
