Regional Sales Head – South India (Refrigerant Gases)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Head to lead our Refrigerant Gas business across South India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigerant gas sales, established relationships within the HVAC&R industry, and a proven ability to build distributor networks, manage key accounts, and drive profitable growth.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for expanding market share, developing sales channels, and leading the regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business growth across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and neighboring markets.
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for refrigerant gases.
- Expand and strengthen distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks.
- Manage key OEMs, HVAC contractors, cold storage companies, refrigeration contractors, and industrial customers.
- Lead price negotiations, commercial discussions, and annual contracts.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage the regional sales team.
- Work closely with product management, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly business reviews.
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience
- 10–18 years of B2B industrial sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years specifically in refrigerant gas sales.
- Experience handling South India markets.
- Strong leadership experience managing regional sales teams.
- Proven record of achieving revenue and profitability targets.
Industry Background (Mandatory)
Candidates should have worked with one or more of the following:
- Refrigerant gas manufacturers
- Fluorochemical companies
- Refrigerant gas importers/distributors
