Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Business Development & Project Sales to lead and expand our business across government and large institutional sectors. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in government sales, project sales, business development, and handling large-value clients, including government departments, government contractors, consultants, and large corporate customers.
The candidate will also be responsible for national sales monitoring, leading the sales team, and ensuring all regional sales personnel report and perform effectively under his leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for government and institutional sales across India.
- Build strong relationships with government departments, consultants, contractors, EPC companies, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and secure large project sales opportunities.
- Monitor tenders, project pipelines, and upcoming business opportunities in government and private sectors.
- Lead, guide, and monitor the national sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure all regional sales personnel report regularly and meet performance expectations.
- Coordinate with internal departments for proposal submissions, pricing, project execution, and client servicing.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and market expansion.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence for management review.
- Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in government sales, project sales, and business development.
- Strong network with government bodies, consultants, contractors, and institutional buyers.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and monitoring national sales teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong market understanding and execution ability.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.

- Experience in handling large accounts and complex project sales cycles.
- Self-driven with strong decision-making and team management capabilities.
Location Preference: Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
