Position: Delivery Boy
Location: New Guddahalli
Department: Logistics / Dispatch
Reporting To: Warehouse Coordinator / Dispatch Manager
Role Overview:
The Delivery Boy is responsible for safely delivering products to customers, ensuring timely dispatch, proper handling of goods, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:1. Delivery & Dispatch
- Pick up orders from the warehouse and deliver them to customers as per the route plan.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Verify the product quantity before dispatch and collect customer signatures upon delivery.
2. Product Handling
- Handle products carefully to avoid damages.
- Maintain proper documentation such as delivery receipts, invoices, and return slips.
- Collect returns or exchange goods (if required) and submit them to the warehouse.
3. Vehicle & Safety Management
- Ensure the delivery bike is in good condition (fuel, tyres, brakes, papers).
- Follow all road safety rules and traffic regulations.
- Immediately report any accident, breakdown, or delay.
4. Customer Service
- Communicate politely and professionally with customers.
- Provide accurate information regarding delivery if asked by the customer.
- Maintain brand image through good behaviour and proper documentation.
5. Daily Reporting
- Submit daily delivery summary to the warehouse/dispatch team.
- Report failed deliveries with reasons.
- Hand over collected cash (if COD) at the end of each day.
Skills & Requirements:
- Must have a valid two- Four wheeler driving license (Tata Ace)
- Should own or be comfortable using a two- Four wheeler
- Basic understanding of Bangalore
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and punctual
- 2 years of experience
Salary & Timings:
- Salary: 10,000 - 13,000\
- Timing: 10:00 -7:30
- Weekly Off: Sunday / Gov holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,006.03 per month
