Job location:
Bero and Itki blocks of Ranchi District, Jharkhand
Role overview:
This role focuses on improving community health outcomes in the Bero–Itki block by working closely with the public health system. The work is primarily field-based and involves deep engagement at the village level.
Key responsibilities
- Work on the ground with public health stakeholders, including ASHAs and Anganwadi Workers.
- Support and strengthen outreach efforts such as Village Health, Sanitation and Nutrition Days (VHSNDs), health camps, and home visits.
- Follow-up with individuals at health risk and facilitate appropriate referrals.
Organise and participate in community-level meetings, including Village Health, Sanitation and Nutrition Committees (VHSNCs) and Gram Sabhas.

Qualifications & skills:
- Graduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working on the ground with community-based organisations, preferably in health.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and at least one local language of Jharkhand.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work independently across villages in the area.
