Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted plant operations while adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Electrical Maintenance
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery and plant equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, wiring, switches, and control systems.
- Ensure smooth operation of production machinery and utilities.
Installation & Repair
- Install new electrical systems, machines, and equipment.
- Carry out wiring, cabling, and electrical modifications as required.
- Replace defective electrical components and parts.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety procedures and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Plant Support
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and electrical audits.
- Support maintenance of generators, compressors, and other utility equipment.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries.
- Experience in handling industrial electrical systems and machinery.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, and industrial wiring.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in FMCG, Agarbatti, Packaging, or Manufacturing Industries.
- Familiarity with plant machinery and utility equipment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
