Job Overview
FleetGo is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations. The role requires strong expertise in GST, TDS, and Tally, along with the ability to handle financial reporting and compliance independently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Handle daily accounting operations (AP, AR, General Ledger)
- Maintain financial records using Tally Prime
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Track expenses and petty cash
GST & Taxation
- File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)
- Handle TDS calculation, filing, and compliance
- File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q) and generate Form 16/16A
- Ensure statutory compliance as per Indian tax laws
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
- Generate E-Way Bills
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual financial reports
- Generate MIS reports for management
- Support internal & external audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Requirements
- 6–8 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GST & TDS
- Proficiency in Tally Prime
- Experience in financial statement preparation
- Good knowledge of Indian accounting regulations
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Good communication & coordination skills
- Based in / willing to relocate to Kochi
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics/courier industry
- Knowledge of E-Way Bills & freight invoicing
- Familiarity with Zoho Books / SAP FICO
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
