Hiring: Product Design Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Product Design Engineer to join our Design team. The role involves designing and optimizing genset enclosures, acoustic solutions, fuel tanks, and structural components while ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design acoustic enclosures, canopies, fuel tanks, and structural components for gensets
- Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical schematics using CAD software
- Perform load calculations, vibration analysis, and noise level assessments
- Conduct CFD, FEA, and design validation activities
- Coordinate with production and testing teams for prototype development and fabrication trials
- Maintain BOMs, design documentation, and compliance records
- Ensure designs comply with ISO, CPCB, CE, and other industry standards
- Support customer-specific customization and technical requirements
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in genset, acoustics, sheet metal, or heavy engineering design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar 3D modelling software
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, material properties, and manufacturing techniques
- Understanding of thermal, acoustic, and structural engineering principles
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in CFD, FEA, or NVH analysis
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Exposure to SAP, ERP, or PLM software
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
