Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Professional to facilitate data privacy adoption in the ecosystem. You will train, guide, facilitate Data Protection Officers (DPOs) across our ecosystem helping them understand and comply with data protection laws. This role requires understanding of global privacy laws including DPDP Act, thorough understanding of technologies in privacy, privacy implementation experience, and training capabilities for senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver comprehensive training cohorts for DPOs and senior leaders.
Translate complex legal compliance requirements into practical operational workflows.
Build training modules covering DPDP Act, GDPR, and sector-specific privacy rules.
Mentor ecosystem DPOs on managing privacy incidents and regulatory reporting.
Monitor sector-specific laws (e.g., RBI, IRDAI, SEBI, or healthcare regulations) affecting data.
Ability to work with regulators and the ecosystem stakeholders.
Professional Experience
Minimum 10-12 years of dedicated experience in data privacy and information governance.
Proven track record of implementing privacy frameworks from scratch in large ecosystems.
Demonstrated experience speaking to, training, or advising C-suite executives and board members.
Skills and Qualifications
Should have led end-to-end privacy implementation – GAP assessment, RoPA, DPIA, Data Privacy Audits, Breach Management.
Deployment of privacy tools for automated data discovery, classification, and mapping.
Understanding of consent management architectures.
Practical experience in embedding Privacy by Design principles into product and engineering lifecycles.
Ability to evaluate and integrate Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to minimize data risks.
Comprehend Data Protection Laws and their applicability.
Active privacy certifications preferred (e.g., DCDPO, DCPLA, DCPP, CIPP/E, CIPT).
Soft Skills
Exceptional communication skills to simplify highly technical or legal concepts.
Strong facilitation skills to manage interactive, high-stakes training cohorts.
Influencing capabilities to drive privacy culture across distinct business units.
Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.
