About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Child Psychologist to join our team in Vijayanagar, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will work closely with children, parents, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to assess developmental, behavioral, emotional, and learning-related concerns. The role involves conducting assessments, designing intervention plans, carrying out field research, and supporting children with special needs to achieve their developmental and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Intervention
- Conduct psychological assessments for children with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and learning difficulties.
- Administer and interpret standardized psychological and educational assessment tools.
- Identify developmental delays, learning disabilities, behavioral concerns, and emotional challenges.
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans for children with special needs.
- Monitor progress and modify intervention strategies based on assessment outcomes.
Research & Data Analysis
- Conduct field research across schools, educational institutions, and community settings.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Prepare research reports, case summaries, and outcome evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based intervention programs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with parents, teachers, special educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct counseling and psychoeducation sessions for parents and caregivers.
- Provide recommendations and support strategies for schools and families.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and review meetings.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate clinical records, assessment reports, and intervention documentation.
- Ensure adherence to ethical, professional, and legal guidelines governing psychological practice.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguarding standards for all clients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in:
- Clinical Psychology
- Neuropsychology
- Educational Psychology
- Applied Psychology
- Child Psychology or related specialization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children with special needs such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Learning Disabilities
- Developmental Delays
- Behavioral and Emotional Disorders
- Research Assistant experience, publications, or doctoral research will be an added advantage.
- Experience in clinical, educational, rehabilitation, or child development settings.
