Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day production activities, supervise workers, maintain production targets, and ensure quality and safety standards are followed on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily production activities as per production plans.
- Allocate work to workers and monitor manpower utilization.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the given timeline.
- Monitor fabrication, assembly and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores and Production teams.
- Ensure proper use of machines, tools and raw materials.
- Monitor production quality and minimize rejection, wastage and rework.
- Maintain daily production reports and records.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action.
- Ensure workers follow safety rules and company procedures.
- Maintain discipline and proper housekeeping on the shop floor.
- Report daily production status, breakdowns and other issues to management.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2–3 years in Production/Supervision.
- Diploma/ITI/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or related field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, aluminium formwork or scaffolding industry will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of production processes and manpower handling.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
