Role Overview
We are looking for a strong SDET / Test Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience who can build and scale automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and take end-to-end ownership of product quality. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability across complex AI and video-processing systems. This is not a manual QA role.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing
· Develop UI automation using Cypress (mandatory); Playwright or Selenium is a plus
· Build and maintain API automation
· Improve test stability, execution speed, and maintainability
· Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket)
· Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enable shift-left testing
· Participate in defect triage and root-cause analysis
· Mentor junior team members and drive testing best practices
Required Skills & Experience
· 3–5 years of experience in test automation / SDET roles
· Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress
· Experience in API testing
· Solid understanding of automation frameworks and testing best practices
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines
· Basic understanding of networking and distributed systems
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good to Have
· Experience with Python
· Exposure to Playwright or Selenium
· Familiarity with AWS or Azure
· Experience testing media, video, or AI/ML-based systems
